Anna Makarova, M. A. Sc., is an Experience Researcher, Professional Storyteller, Life & Career Coach and Published Author, who specializes in using storytelling as a powerful tool for personal and professional growth, connection and transformation to create meaningful impact. Based on her extensive experience with individuals, teams, and organizations in the profit and nonprofit sectors, with a strong focus on accessibility, sustainability, and inclusion.

   Anna offers a unique combination of personal stories & experiences, knowledge of the story theory, and extensive experience in helping people transform their understanding of themselves and others through storytelling.

 

She serves on the NYU CNIE (New York University Collaborative for New Immigrants) committee board to support immigrants, asylees and refugees in their career journey and personal achievements as a facilitator, speaker, event organizer and researcher; and on the StreetWise Partners Alumni Board – to support career development of unemployed or underemployed mentees. 

She is a #IamRemarkable Facilitator empowering women and other underrepresented groups to celebrate their achievements in the workplace and beyond; member of The Moth Storytelling Alumni; member of the New Women New Yorkers – supporting women immigrants. 

In her upcoming Storytelling book, she will reveal her essential & fundamental methods and techniques using the art and craft of a story.

 

Her analytical background comes from Master’s degree in Information Technology and Applied Mathematics.
